Artworks Digital is a French platform that helps artists exist online without paying €30/month for Shopify, without giving up 40% margin to an opaque intermediary, and without sacrificing the editorial quality that distinguishes a work of art from any other product.
The observation: existing platforms are either too generic (Etsy, Society6) or too closed (Saatchi, Singulart). In between, there was a gap for a platform specialized in contemporary art, open (without drastic curation) but quality-focused (multilingual, enriched schema.org, curatorial AI).
How do we finance ourselves?
18% commission on sales only. No subscription, no registration fees, no hidden costs. Premium templates (€10 lifetime) are optional — the free template is complete and SEO-optimal.
