Curatorial index
Each criterion contributes to a transparent index. No black box: you see exactly why an artist is recommended.
The style declared by the artist (abstraction, figurative, digital artβ¦) is matched against the preferred styles entered by the gallery. Direct match or via the gallery's specialty. Weighted highest as it's the most discriminating criterion.
The average price of the artist's works is compared to the gallery's price_min / price_max. Full match if within range, partial at Β±30%. Avoids mismatches between artists and galleries that don't serve the same market.
Comparison of declared locations (city, country). A Parisian gallery will tend to match more with artists based in Paris or the Paris region β without excluding talent from elsewhere.
The techniques used by the artist (oil, photography, sculpture, mixed mediaβ¦) are calculated from their works and matched with the gallery's preferred mediums. Progressive score based on overlap.
Does the gallery target the emerging, mid-career or established? The artist's status is inferred from the number of CV entries (β₯5 = established, β₯2 = mid-career, otherwise emerging). Exact or compatible match.
Each match shows the final score + detailed reasons. No opacity: if you see a match at 65, you know exactly which criteria composed it.

The index computes a 0-100 score by adding points across 5 weighted criteria: style (30), price (25), location (20), mediums (15), and target market (10). Each criterion follows its own logic (exact / partial / low). Point details and reasons are shown in the dashboard for full transparency.
It's free for both parties. No subscription, no commission on signed partnerships. The platform earns only from marketplace sales: 17% for direct artists, 5% for galleries (saving them 12 percentage points).
Yes. All exchanges go through internal messaging. No professional email is ever exposed to the other party unless you explicitly shared it.
Artist side: their public page gains a 'represented by X' badge and profile is highlighted. Their works are no longer sold directly on the marketplace but via the gallery (5% commission instead of 17%). Gallery side: their page is featured on the homepage with represented artists.
You receive the decision in your dashboard. You can follow up later with a new message β the platform keeps the history. No limit on the number of proposals sent.
